Oil firms announce lower prices of diesel, kerosene

Oil companies announced reduction in pump prices of diesel and kerosene this week, while those of gasoline will be kept at current rates, according to a report by GMA News.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will reduce prices per liter of diesel by P0.25 and kerosene by P0.15, while those of gasoline will be unchanged.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel that will implement the adjustments at 8:01 a.m. on the same day.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements.
