Pasay mayor leads 'Kandili ng Kalusugan' program
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano led the "Kandili ng Kalusugan" program, which visited Barangays 10-13 in Pasay City on March 22, 2023.
The program offered free medical consultations, medicines, X-rays, laboratory tests such as blood typing, blood glucose, cholesterol, uric acid, and even the pneumonia vaccine. Haircuts and fluoride application were also provided for children.
The program was attended by Councilors Mark Calixto, Joey Isidro, Ambet Alvina, Ding Santos, and Grace Santos. "Kandili ng Kalusugan" is part of Mayor Emi's H.E.L.P. Priority Agenda, with a focus on the "H" for Health.
The program aims to provide healthcare services to the people of Pasay City, especially those in underserved areas.
The event was well received by the residents of Barangays 10-13, who expressed their gratitude for the medical assistance provided by the local government.
The Kandili ng Kalusugan program is expected to visit more barangays in the coming months to reach out to more people in need of medical services.
