Pasay relaunches Barangay Labor Desk
The Barangay Labor Desk, now known as Reload, was relaunched in response to the challenges brought about by the ongoing pandemic. The event took place at the Pasay City Astrodome on May 10, 2023.
"Now, we focus on Livelihood. Trabaho para sa bawat isang Pasayeño. That is our goal. We want to strengthen the effective promotion of sustainable livelihood for all. We aim to open more opportunities within everyone's reach. But our objectives do not stop there. If their skills or experience are insufficient, we will also conduct various skills training programs to enhance their abilities and pave the way for better opportunities," said Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the Mother of Pasay City.

Under Reload, the Barangay Labor Desk will serve as a focal point for employment-related concerns, providing guidance and assistance to job seekers and entrepreneurs alike. The program will not only focus on job placement but also on skills development through training programs tailored to the needs of the community.
The collaboration among different government agencies and local stakeholders demonstrates a collective commitment to empowering Pasay City residents with the necessary tools and opportunities for economic growth. By providing access to skills training and livelihood programs, Reload aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to secure better job prospects and financial stability.
