Pasay hosts regional BFP-NCR skills, sports competition
Pasay City on Tuesday hosted the Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region Fire Readiness/Skills Capability Enhancement 2019 at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, guest of honor at the event, commended the BFP-NCR in their continuous efforts to upgrade and enhance their skills in firefighting and preparedness in cases of fire incidents through sports and skills competition.
The event is a region-wide sports and skills competition of firefighters from the different fire stations across Metro Manila. It acknowledges physical activity as a tool to sharpen tactical and firefighting skills.
The activity also fosters team spirit and camaraderie among firefighters from different local government units in the National Capital Region.
