Pasay distributes financial assistance to 10,237 students
Thousands of elementary students from seven public schools in Pasay City will each receive financial assistance of P3,000 as part of the Pasay City government’s Financial Assistance to Students Program (FASP).
According to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the distribution of the cash aid to 10,237 students will be conducted from July 24 to 27.
She said the P3,000 cash aid — P1,000 for each month from January to March of school year 2019-2020 — will be given to 1,609 students of Pasay City North Main Campus, 967 of Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School, 837 of Rafael Palma Elementary School, 710 of Cuneta Elementary School, 2,160 of Jose Rizal Elementary School, 2,440 of Maricaban Elementary School, and 1,514 of Rivera Village Elementary School.
She explained that the FASP program of the city government was established to help students of public schools cope with their expenses.
The mayor also said they have finished distributing FASP aid to 13,473 elementary students coming from eight other public schools in the city.
Rubiano added that they are also preparing the schedule for the distribution of financial aid to students from other public schools in the city.
