Pasay deploys water tankers, firetrucks to serve waterless communities
In response to the upcoming water interruption from Sunday to Tuesday (March 5-8, 2023), the Mayor of Pasay City, Emi Calixto-Rubiano, immediately responded by providing free water service to affected barangays.
The Mayor talked to Maynilad, firefighters, and various fire volunteers to give free water service to the affected residents.
Seven (7) water tankers from Maynilad will be assigned to different barangays to provide service from 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 midnight. Meanwhile, fourteen (14) fire trucks from the Pasay City Fire Department and various volunteer fire brigades will be deployed to distribute water to the affected areas.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano personally ensured that the residents in the affected barangays will have access to clean water despite the scheduled water interruption.
She also expressed her gratitude to Maynilad, firefighters, and volunteers for their assistance in providing this essential service to the community.
