Pasay hospital gets level 2 accreditation 

The Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) - Department of Internal Medicine (IM) was recently awarded Level II accreditation by the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) during their 53rd Annual Convention kickoff on May 6, 2023. The accreditation is a testament to the department's commitment to providing high-quality medical services that are truly "PCGH IM: Proficient, Competent, Groundbreaking, Holistic, and Ideal Medicine."

This is in line with the mission of the department to continuously improve and provide better healthcare services to the Pasayeños.

The accreditation was made possible with the help and support of Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, who spearheaded the national accreditation of PCGH-IM in 2022.

This makes it the first and only accredited institution in the history of the hospital. The department's mission aligns with the mayor's vision to improve and enhance the overall quality of the city hospital.

With the accreditation, the PCGH-IM is assured to provide medical services at par or even better than larger private or public hospitals. The accreditation recognizes the department's well-trained medical staff and their ability to provide the most effective and up-to-date medical practices to help Pasayeños recover from illnesses.

The hospital's internal medicine department now joins the ranks of other accredited institutions, further solidifying the quality of medical services available in Pasay City.
