Pasay launches learning management system
A Learning Management System (LMS) for the City University of Pasay (CUP) was launched to help teaching personnel and students during face-to-face classes, as well as in blended and online learning, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
According to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the program called CUP Smartbook LMS was presented on Monday, Nov. 14, at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Rubiano said the CUP Smartbook can be opened with the use of mobile phones, tablets and computers.
She said it can also be used by students during classes, submission of assignments, examinations, and others.
“With the advent of this technology, we expect more engagement and more enrollees, without having to compromise safety, and without rigid implementation of face-to-face safety protocols,” Rubiano said.
