Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano on Tuesday visited the Pasay City Command, Control, Communication and Information Center (Pasay C-3) to be updated with the current traffic situation in the city from a “bird’s eye view” and formulate sustainable traffic decongestion strategies.

Calixto-Rubiano inspected the Pasay C-3 and was given a briefing on the traffic choke points shown by the 76 cctv cameras installed in strategic locations across the city being broadcast real time by monitors manned by trained personnel at the Command Center.

She said that addressing traffic congestion at its root would help in the free flow of people, goods, and services not just in the city but for the entire Metro Manila.

The mayor gave instructions to Pasay City officials to find out the root causes of traffic congestion and develop strategies and protocols on how to sustainably address the concern.

Present during the C-3 inspection were Pasay City administrator Atty. Dennis Acorda, Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office head Art Fortaleza, CENRO Operations Superintendent RR Medina Salvador, and Pasay C-3 chief Rhodora Pimlott.
