Pasay welcomes Lakbay Museo
Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has opened the doors of “The Travel City” to the Lakbay Museo at S Maison at the Conrad Hotel, Mall of Asia complex.
Calixto-Rubiano said the Lakbay Museo was a creative take from the traditional museums as it showcased not just destinations but also regional cultures and cuisines, similar to what Nayong Filipino did before.
The Lakbay Museo provides a unique experience of different destinations and allows one to travel to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, while getting to know more about Philippine history and culture without having to spend days of traveling and a lot of money.
The Lakbay Museo donated P1 million to ABS-CBN for its socio-civic programs.
Among the prominent figures who attended the event included Charo Santos of ABS-CBN, Lakbay Museo president Lawrence Tan, Lakbay Museo chairperson Bobby Joseph, Sorsogon Rep. Evelina Escudero, former Bureau of Internal Revenue commissioner Kim Henares, and Pasay City Councilor Joey Calixto Isidro.
