Manila Reiterates Safety Measures in Divisoria Meeting

Manila City - In a proactive move to ensure the safety and orderliness of one of Manila's bustling commercial hubs, the City Government of Manila, led by Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, recently held a meeting with over 500 market vendors and stall owners in Divisoria.

The meeting featured key department heads, including officials from the City Treasurer's Office, Bureau of Permits, Department of Public Services, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, Department of Engineering and Public Works, and the Department of Tourism and Public Works. Also present were barangay chairpersons overseeing Divisoria, under the leadership of Manila Barangay Bureau Director Diosdado Santiago. Local police and station officers in the area also attended.

During the gathering, authorized officials were introduced, highlighting their roles in coordinating and collecting taxes. This demonstration of transparency aimed to enhance understanding and cooperation between the local government and the vibrant community of vendors.
