SM Donates Fire Truck to Pasay City

In a remarkable demonstration of public-private collaboration, SM Prime Holdings extended a helping hand to the Volunteer’s Fire Brigade of Pasay by presenting them with a brand-new fire tanker on October 6, 2023.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the respected leader of Pasay City, expressed her profound gratitude during the handover ceremony. She underlined the significance of productive relationships, emphasizing Pasay's unwavering commitment to cooperation, effective communication, and seamless coordination among all stakeholders.

The Mayor praised the fruitful partnership between the city and private entities like SM, which has consistently supported the city's mission to deliver exceptional service to its residents.

"From then until now, and surely for countless years to come, we are fortunate to have SM as our steadfast partner in providing more than adequate public service. Ultimately, SM shares our vision of improving the lives of our people and, of course, ensuring the safety and well-being of each individual," Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano stated in her heartfelt message.

The event was graced by prominent figures, including Mr. Alabe and Mr. Steven Tan from SM Supermalls, C.Supt. Nahum Tarroza from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Mr. Ben Chua Ching, Jr., and Mr. Dionisio See Chu Siu Chun from the Volunteers’ Fire Brigade of Pasay City Inc. This gathering was also an occasion to formalize their continued collaboration and partnership, symbolized by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.
