Pasay mayor shares stories with children
Pasay City, Philippines - In celebration of National Children's Month on November 6, 2023, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano of Pasay City took a seat and engaged in storytelling with 60 young Pasayeños from various Day Care Centers across the city.
Mayor Emi shared a heartwarming story about Lilay, the "Batang Matamlay" (listless child), who resembled a grandma narrating tales alongside her lively and playful grandchildren. Her captivating storytelling not only entertained but also imparted valuable life lessons to the attentive young audience.
