In a bid to promote sports excellence and inspire the youth, the City of Pasay, led by its beloved Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, together with Councilors Mark Calixto and Joey Isidro, partnered with the VOLeaders Academy of the University of Tennessee to introduce an extraordinary Sports Immersion Program. The event took place on July 2, 2023, showcasing the city's commitment to the holistic development of its young Pasayeños.

With a vision to make students strive for excellence, stay motivated, and inspired, Mayor Emi delivered a powerful message to over 200 students and volunteer athletes in attendance. The Sports Immersion Program aimed to provide Pasay's youth with a unique opportunity to learn from the esteemed University of Tennessee VOLeaders Academy, known for its expertise in sports development.
