Back in orbit following a 92-89 victory over the Quezon City Capitals on Oct. 3, the Voyagers have won eight of their last nine games and should be able to hurdle the Shoemasters in their 4 pm. encounter

Board crasher Dhon Reverente, Axel Inigo, Jaypee Belencion and Raymund Ilagan are again expected to play pivotal roles for the Voyagers, who tote an 11-6 record as against the Shoemasters’ 3-12 slate, this despite winning their last two games.

Other games pit the Navotas Clutch versus the Capitals at 6:30 p.m. and the Bulacan Kuyas versus the Imus-Khaleb Shawarma Bandera at 8:30 p.m.

The Clutch halted a three-game skid with a 72-57 beating of the Mindoro Tamaraws on Oct. 3, but will be the underdogs against the Capitals, who are at 7-10.

Though the Kuyas (9-7) have dropped their last two games, they remain the favorites over the Bandera (4-10), who enjoy a solid fan base with former PBA MVP Jayjay Helterbrand and actor Gerald Anderson in their roster.
